Our Historic Inn
For folks planning to stay the night in Dahlonega, our 1899 Historic Inn has a variety of room sizes located in the Main and Carriage House. Queen rooms, Double rooms, and Suites are available for overnight stays. One-night minimum booking. Cancellation fee applies.
The Lodge
The Smith House Lodge offers twenty-four rooms and is a great getaway for business or leisure. Rooms are configured as a King or Double Queen accommodation with one suite available. Select rooms offer balconies and connecting rooms are also available. One-night minimum booking. Cancellation fee applies.
The Welch Cottage
Located at 198 North Grove Street. Newly renovated four bedroom & three-bathroom house. Two Master Suites on the main
and two Queen bedrooms upstairs.
Two-night minimum rental.
Cancellation fee applies.

The Welch King Suite
Located at 198 North Grove Street the Welch King Suite is attached to the Welch Cottage
but is rented as a separate unit. It offers
a King bed, small sitting area, full bath, and private parking. One-night minimum. Cancellation fee applies.
The Thomas Cottage
Located at 174 North Grove Street, this beautifully renovated three bedroom & two-bathroom house offers one Master Suite on
the main level and two Queen bedrooms upstairs. Also offered is a full kitchen, living room and outdoor patio. Two-night minimum for booking. Cancellation fee applies.
The Fitts Cottage
Located at 154 North Grove Street, The Fitts Cottage is the newest addition to the Smith House lodging. This four-bedroom house
has a full kitchen, dining room, and living
room. Two King bedroom suites with private baths and Two Queen bedrooms with a shared bath. Two-night minimum for booking. Cancellation fee applies.
The Villas at Chestatee Village
Each Villa offers a King Bedroom and Queen Bedroom, two private bathrooms, a full kitchen, and living room with balcony overlooking Downtown Dahlonega. There are four Villas available to book with a one-night minimum for booking. Cancellation fee applies.
Inn Blocks for Special Events
For wedding parties or special events, The Smith House offers room blocks for your guests. Available are Sixteen rooms in the Historic Inn including Deluxe Suites, Twenty-Four rooms in the Lodge, and four Villas at the Chestatee Village on the town square of Dahlonega. There is a fee for blocking our rooms that can be applied to any service here at The Smith House.
